For the longest time I had this shot labelled simply "Full Moon". But it always bugged me that the upper right corner was dark. I began to get suspicious that this was more than poor processing. Thanks to my buddies on APML I have learned that this was actually a partial (penumbral) eclipse of the moon. I didn't keep very good records, but I'm estimating the picture was taken between 21:00 and 22:30 EST on the evening of November 19, 2002. You can get more information on this eclipse here
